The  Hotel was formerly made up of five residences that have now been converted into one building. There are many reports of past paranormal activity. The figure of a dark haired woman has been witnessed on the stairs, a man wearing blue overalls has been spotted on a few occasions walking through the restaurant and in the bottom floor toilet before disappearing, the apparition of a large dog was witnessed in room 6, footsteps are heard regularly through the hallways, smells of pipe tobacco in the living room area, bottles moved and cutlery disappearing in the kitchen area, people hearing their names being shouted when nobody else is there

We arrived at the location at 2300 hours, baseline tests were carried out by Peter and John on the 1st and 2nd floors of the hotel. During baseline tests Raymond captured orbs on digital camera in many different rooms and corridors of the hotel.

 

At 23.30 the investigation started in bedroom 1 on the 1st floor lots of EVP activity was noted around the wardrobe and door area, the team were asking out while three separate EVP recorders were recording, unexplained sounds were recorded on all recorders all with different sounds, all sounded similar to scratching on the mic. No conclusion was reached to the origin or likelihood of the noise, nothing significant caught.

 

We next moved to bedroom 3 on the 1st floor EVP was picked up and the EMF meter went off the scale at a certain part in the room which was unexplainable, as it was around two feet from the floor in the middle of the room, there was no electrical source near or directly downstairs that it could be coming from. At the same part of the room David asked out using the dowsing rods, in response, one of the rods moved towards Angela who was sitting behind David.

The team moved to the bathroom next door to bedroom 3 where a EVP session was carried out, nothing was concluded, however, there was something picked up on the EVP recorder which could be interpreted as voices or a conversation.

 

At 0100 hours the team then moved onto the hotel owners living room where EVP was picked up when John was asking out, during this EVP session there was an EMF meter placed on top of the fire place. While John was communicating with the spirit he asked for the spirit to touch the light on the EMF meter on top of the fire place, after a minute or so of asking the EMF meter then went off by sound and light. After thanking the spirit for setting it off he then asked for it to move away, and the EMF meter stopped going off.

 

At 0153 hours the team move into room 3, EVP’s were recorded but nothing significant was captured. Steven stays in room 3 to conduct a lone vigil EVP session. No EVP picked up.

 

Angela and Raymond leave investigation as Angela felt unwell during the investigation and felt gradually worse and worse, so decided to leave.

 

At 0220 team enter room 5, nothing significant is captured.

 

At 0245 team enter private room on the 2nd floor, John and Peter begin EVP and video session. During this session we capture EVP of voice telling us to get out.

 

Team then decide to stop for a break.

 

At 0330 the team enter the bar area. Peter begins EMF reading which goes of the scale from wall on one side through to wall on opposite side of the bar. John begins EVP were he gets a woman’s voice telling us to go away and also says look go away.

At time 0415 team decide to end investigation.
